The FA's HQ

Where have The FA’s offices been over the years?

The FA’s first headquarters were at 28 Paternoster Row, with one paid clerk and one room reached by a back staircase.

There were four moves before the First World War – to 51 Holborn Viaduct (1885), 61 Chancery Lane (1892), 104 High Holborn (1902) and 42 Russell Square (1910).

The next move was to 22 Lancaster Gate, previously the Eden Court Hotel, in 1929. The FA’s offices remained in that Bayswater street for 71 years, although they did move three doors down the road to No.16 in 1971.

The offices were at 25 Soho Square from 2000 and the most recent move, to Wembley Stadium, was made in August 2009.
