This spring, The FA Licensed Coaches’ Club will host its first-ever goalkeeping conference.

Taking place at St. George’s Park on Sunday 14 and Monday 15 April 2013, the event is open to all coaches.

Manchester United’s Goalkeeper Coach, Eric Steele, and The FA’s National Goalkeeper Coach, Martin Thomas, are among a host of top names already confirmed to speak at the event.

Other key speakers include Simon Smith, FA National Goalkeeper Coach (youth), Leanne Hall, Sheffield United Academy Goalkeeper Coach and former international goalkeeper, and Tony Elliot, FA National Futsal Goalkeeper Coach.

The two-ay event will combine a series of presentations and practical sessions across the national football centre’s educational and playing facilities, and will be aimed at how to integrate goalkeepers into outfield sessions.

Following on from the hugely successful 2012 Licensed Coaches’ Club Conference for Level 1-5 coaches in December, demand for places is expected to be high and early bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment.
