Jill Scott gives us a unique tour of St. George's Park

Jill Scott teamed up with FATV last month to provide a unique tour of St. George’s Park.

Armed with a specially designed ‘gogglecam’, which is essentially a ski mask with a camera inside, the England Women’s midfielder darted around the national football centre and highlighted exactly what it had to offer.

St. George’s Park will be officially opened by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge next Tuesday, but Scott and her England team-mates had the privilege of experiencing its first-class facilities ahead of the recent Euro qualifier against Croatia.

The 25-year-old began her tour in the Hilton Hotel reception where she interrupted a newspaper interview with Rachel Yankey.

She also bumped into The FA’s Director of Football Development, Sir Trevor Brooking and England’s Head of National Teams, Ray Clemence, along the way.

Scott then went inside one of the dressing rooms before moving on to the elite pitch, which is an exact replica of Wembley, where Hope Powell’s side had been training that week.

And she completed her tour by joining her team-mates in the meal room.

St. George’s Park is The FA’s £100m training centre which will become home to each of the 24 England teams and will be the new centre for football coaching.
