An exciting vacancy has arisen at the Liverpool FA.

The Liverpool CFA are looking to recruit a Football Development Officer (with a lead on Woman’s & Girls football) on a fixed term contract. This position reports directly to the County Development Manager and is responsible for developing and delivering a range of football activity in line with the Merseyside County football plan and FA National Game Strategy, in particular focusing on Growth and Retention and Raising Standards targets. The post holder will also have a county wide lead on areas of women and girls football in Merseyside.

The post holder will:

- Support and develop new and existing clubs and leagues in relation to Charter Standard status.
- To drive The FA Youth Review activity in conjunction with leagues and clubs, which includes mini soccer and 9 v 9 provision.
- To maintain and grow participation in particular the transition from mini to youth and youth to adult football.
- Overall responsibility for the targets around Women & Girls football.

To apply, you should be of graduate calibre, have experience in sports development and an understanding of The FA’s National Game Strategy.

The successful applicant will need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level, have a good understanding of league and club structures and coaching pathways. Be able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
