The number of female coaches is on the rise.
Ahead of the official opening of St. George’s Park, the new central hub for developing better coaches, The FA can confirm a total of 25,275 females have now earned a Level One coaching certificate – double the number from 2008.
2,021 females have taken their qualifications further by completing their Level Two badge and exactly 200 of these have taken their UEFA ‘B’ Licence.
Meanwhile, Tessa Payne has continued her rise up the coaching ladder by becoming the 17th female to gain the UEFA ‘A’ Licence and Julie Chipchase has become the first female 'A' Licence tutor.
We can expect these numbers to increase further once St. George’s Park is fully up and running.
