Megan Harris believes this Friday's FA WSL Continental Cup Final against Arsenal will provide the perfect way to end the Lincoln Ladies story.
Rick Passmoor's side will relocate to Nottingham next term and change guise to Notts County, ending their 18-year residency in Lincoln.
Lady Imps midfielder Harris, who has spent her entire career at the club, is looking forward to a fitting end to her side's tenure at Sincil Bank.
She said: "For Lincoln it's our first-ever cup final, and it will be our last as Lincoln Ladies.
"Arsenal have got experience, but we've got motivation in that it's our first and last cup final as Lincoln so we want to go out on a high.
"It's what dreams are made of. I'm a Lincoln girl. I've played for Lincoln ever since we started in 1995 and I've gone through the ranks. For me to be able to play in a cup final is what I wanted to do when I first joined as a little girl.
"It's a perfect way to end the Lincoln story."
Lincoln may have finished three places and 20 points behind reigning Continental Cup holders Arsenal this season, but they have proved to be something of a thorn in the Gunners' side of late.
The Lady Imps are the only team yet to lose to Shelley Kerr's charges this season and Harris feels her side might be Arsenal's bogey team.
She added: "For the last couple of seasons we've had some really good games against them and performances. This season we've drawn all three games and they've been really tight affairs.
"And in the last game we played against them we had a few more clear-cut opportunities than they did, although they had most of the possession.
"Maybe we might be their bogey team. They're strong going forward, but we've got a strong defensive set-up. And I think that counters them sometimes, so it should be an interesting final."
