The Football Association is marking its 150th anniversary across 2013.

Today at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn, central London, The FA launched its 150 celebrations.

The venue is on the former site of the Freemason's Tavern, where The FA was founded in 1863.

The coming year will see The FA bring its unique history to life, telling the story of the founding fathers who paved the way in the organisation’s formative years.
