This week the midfielder looks back on a 4-1 win over Crewe and Forest's replay with Salisbury City, as well as admitting he's having problems fitting in his Christmas shopping.

Hi everyone.

It's been a much better week.

I had a feeling we would tonk someone, I could just sense it. There was something in training and around the ground before we played Crewe.

It's the best we have played since I joined Forest. Everyone played two-touch at pace, from left to right, front to back. We were passing for fun. We kept the ball for so long. We played so well.

We took 2,500 fans to Crewe - they had a great day. Our fans are a real credit to the club. They are the best I have played in front of. We have such a great travelling support. Last year we took 6,000 to Bradford.

Nathan scored a great hat-trick against Crewe. He's one of the best in League One and his goals-to-games ratio recently has been brilliant - he's getting his confidence back.

He is frighteningly quick - the quickest player I have ever played with. He's got good movement, a powerful left foot and a great spring - he's like a kangaroo. He's not the sort of person you want to get paired off with at training.

He gives us another dimension when he's in the side. Because of his pace, defenders often drop deep and that allows the likes of me, Junior Agogo and Neil Harris to use that space.

We've been giving him a bit of stick in training though. Apparently Steve Bruce is coming in for him in the January transfer window for £1.5 million. He's a good lad, but he's been having a bit of a stinker in training, so we've been joking that we'd snap their hand off for that money!

I'm sure Nathan wants to stay. He's at home and wants to get us promoted and be a regular in the Championship.

We know most of what's written in the papers is rubbish, but people still have a look at them.

I heard that Steve Claridge wrote an article on me in the Guardian. I did not see it, but I gather some was good and some was bad. He wrote it after the Bournemouth game.

That was a bad day, but it can't be all bad if he managed to write some good things about me when I did not play well. Hopefully he might see me play better when he's commentating on Sky.

We beat Salisbury on Tuesday night and are in the Third Round of The FA Cup. Playing Charlton is a good chance for us to test ourselves. It's probably the first time this season where we are not expected to win. But we have a chance. We are playing well and Charlton's confidence might be a bit low. But a win over us would ease the pressure on them, and Les Reed will have that in mind. A good performance could kick start their season.

We have got our Christmas do this weekend, so I have been getting a few bits and bobs for that. But I have not started Christmas shopping yet. It might be a Christmas Eve job. I'm normally quite prepared but I've just moved house and it's all come a little quickly for me. There could be some disappointing faces on Christmas Day.

Speak to you next week.

Who is your favourite Forest player of all time?
Stephen McCubbin (Perth)
Probably Des Walker or Stuart Pearce. Walker is just a legend, for what he did at Forest and on the international stage. Pearce is the same. He had a great left foot and was good at set-pieces. I liked Ian Woan too. He could strike a ball.

You're living every Forest fan's dream, so how does it actually feel to pull on the shirt having supported them as a boy?
Roger Bannister

It's quality - I could not wish for anything more. To think of when I was six or seven, if someone had said I would be playing for Forest in front of big crowds and people wearing shirts with my name on the back - it's a dream.

How do Gary Megson and Colin Calderwood differ?
Colin Lloyd

Gary wanted us to be physical. He also wanted us to play 3-5-2 but did not have the right personnel to do that. He was also very loud and energetic on the touchline. Colin is different. I can talk to him about things other than Forest, I could not do that with Gary. He was always the boss. Colin is more of a friend, although he has our respect. He can get angry though. He'll smash bottles and rant, but he'll apologise after.

Hi Kris. I would just like to thank you for signing my autograph book. I really appreciate it.
David Shipman

That's nice. It's important to have a relationship with the fans. Because I'm from Mansfield, I have always though of myself as a local boy, like Wes Morgan and James Perch. I try and do my bit for the community, like signing autographs, going to youth football awards nights and handing out prizes, charity events and hospitals visits.
