Black Cats extend National Division lead to four points
Sunderland 4-1 Charlton Athletic The FA Women’s Premier League National Division 2pm, Sunday 11 November 2012 Sunderland extended their lead at the top of the National Division to four points with a 4-1 win over Charlton Athletic. England youngster Beth Mead put the Black Cats ahead just after half-hour mark, a lead doubled by Natalie Gutteridge shortly after the interval. Keira Ramshaw made it 3-0 before Kit Graham pulled a goal back for the Addicks. But Sophie Williams completed the victory in the final minute. Elsewhere, Aston Villa won 2-0 away to Barnet through goals from Danielle Petrovic and Katie Wilkinson. Coventry beat Cardiff 2-1 and Manchester City cruised to a 3-0 win over Leeds.
