Exciting WSL run-in beckons

Following the unprecedented buzz that was created around women’s football during the Olympics, the second half of The FA WSL season is in full swing and there are some tantalising matches coming up.

On Sunday, title challengers Everton host Doncaster Rovers Belles, while second-place Birmingham travel to Lincoln, home to England captain Casey Stoney.

Reigning champions and current table toppers Arsenal will contest the Continental Cup Semi-Final on Monday night against Bristol Academy and the Gunners are next in League action on 9 September.

There is just over a month left of the season and it looks like it will be a pulsating end to the campaign.
