The Cotswold Cobras, qualifiers for last year’s finals were no match for the ‘new kids on the block’.

Adam Stanton, captain of the victors, has put together a talented team of individuals, who with the right coaching have the basis of a good futsal team.

Although a last minute entry into the Gloucestershire league, the Black Hawks adapted quickly to the skill set requirements of futsal.

Individual showpieces were quickly replaced by team tactics, dummy runs and patient build ups - synonymous with Futsal.

Cheltenham is fortunate to have some of the best futsal referees in the country and their competence has given those participating the confidence to play freely.

The Futsal Finals will most definitely be enhanced by this quality side and Futsal England are pleased that Gloucestershire is well represented.
