AFC WIMBLEDON are discussing a ground share at Tooting and Mitcham United for next season. AFC currently play their Seagrave Haulage League games at Kingstonian FC, but may have to move from the Kingsmeadow Stadium if Brentford take up an option to groundshare there.
Tooting have issued a statement which reads:"The general management committee of Tooting & Mitcham United FC have accepted in principle a groundshare arrangement with AFC Wimbledon based on a three-year period."
Meanwhile, AFC Wimbledon chairman Kris Stewart said: "We're still looking for a permanent home, but in the meantime I am confident that we can develop a mutually beneficial relationship with Tooting during the initial three year term of the deal."

LEIGH RMI have appointed Mark Patterson, 37, as their new assistant manager. He was previously the number two at Scarborough and played 500 League games for Blackburn, Bolton, Preston, Bury and Sheffield United.
Leigh boss Steve Waywell said: "Some good people put their names forward, but Mark has just recently been involved at another Conference club. He has links with the Football League and knows the Conference inside out, so he has an insight into what we need to survive at this level. He will also play for us in the Conference."
IN THE Minerva Footballs Spartan South Midlands League, Ampthill Town have parted company with boss Cliff Canavan-Smith due to a disappointing position in the bottom two of the First Division. Assistant coach Terry Murphy has been appointed as caretaker until a replacement can be found.
CHELMSFORD CITY have submitted a planning application for a new stadium at Melbourne Park to the local council. Peter Stroud, chairman of the Dr Martens League Premier Division club, said: "I am 99% sure that the plans will be approved by Chelmsford Borough Council, because we have worked in conjunction with them the whole time.
The 3,000 capacity stadium will have a seated stand on one side and covered terracing behind each goal. The club hope that the planning application will be discussed in February and that building work can begin a month later. As a result, Chelmsford - who currently groundshare at Billericay - hope to be back playing in their home area by early next season.
KINGSTONIAN have named Kim Harris as their new manager. Harris previously held the posts of reserve team boss and assistant manager with the K's. He replaces Steve Sedgley, who parted company with the Ryman Premier outfit last week.

Newport went into voluntary receivership a month ago, but the council have now agreed to buy the club's training ground for £750,000. Club director of football Tony Mount said: " The council have saved us because this deal has provided the cash injection needed for football to continue at Newport."
WORCESTER CITY are hopeful of building a new stadium at Nunnery Way. The Dr Martens League Premier Division club's proposals are subject to a public enquiry in January. The stadium will be of good architectural design and will enhance the leisure facilities of the city. It will keep this football club alive, because without a new home we will die."
SHEPSHED DYNAMO could resign from the Dr Martens League Western Division at the end of the season if they fail to attract new financial backers.
