The Effective Football Club Administration (EFCA) programme consists of 8 modules, designed to offer information and advice to those who make their contribution to the game away from the touchline.

"Each Workshop is very specific, so the people who attend will be able to relate what they learn to their particular role," said Birmingham County FA’s Football Development Officer, Nicola Chalmers.

"The programme has something for everyone, including Secretaries, Treasurers - even enthusiastic Parents!

"The sessions are informative, with the chance to interact and ask questions. Everyone attending will receive a certificate and resources to help them put their knowledge into practice."

The first module titled "Charter Standard Club Development" kicks off on Wednesday 27 October at County HQ, Great Barr, Birmingham between 6-9pm.

As the season progresses, Workshops in Running a Club, Club Finances and Volunteer Management will be held. Other topics covered by the programme include Football for All, Marketing and Sponsorship.

"We have had a terrific response so far - from people who are new to their role to others who have been doing the job for years." added Nicola.

"Whilst our Coach Education courses are proving more popular than ever, we want to ensure that the support is given to everyone at the grassroots of the game – I hope that even more can benefit by signing up to the EFCA programme."
