The RAF St Mawgan First XI celebrate being the first RAF Station to receive the Football Association Charter Standard Club Award.
The Charter was awarded after Warrant Officer Tony Telfer had compiled a portfolio for the Team detailing their Terms of Reference, Accounting procedures, Training programme, medical and safety procedures for players during training and matches cover and Codes of Conduct.
The Royal Air Force Football Association have set themselves a target of ten stations per year to achieve the Charter Standard Award and will use the experiences of RAF St Mawgan to help other Stations to compile their portfolios.
