The FA Charter Standard Scheme is best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

Marc Birkett, Football Development Officer for the County FA who works closely with the clubs to achieve this award was joined by Maurice Matthews, the Chairman of the County FA as well as Lewis McMann and Paul Smith of Sheffield Wednesday to present the plaque.

Marc Birkett of the County FA said "We are delighted that Hallam FC has been awarded with the FA Charter Mark. It sets an example to players and children that the Club are operating within FA guidelines and providing quality football in a safe environment."
