Further and Higher Education
The FA continues its support through to further and higher levels of education ensuring that people do not stop playing the game once they leave school.
The support offered ranges from Player Development programmes to football related courses.

This scheme, which is commenced in 2005 established a network of colleges that provide competitive football opportunities for both male and female players as well as coaching, leadership and officiating courses. Click here for details
The English Colleges Football Association supports and develops football in Sixth form colleges and Colleges of Further Education. Click here
The British Universities Sports Association manages the sporting programme within higher education. To see their website click here
British Colleges of Sport (BCS) represent colleges and students with the further education and sixth form sector, providing sporting opportunities, in conjunction with academic study. There are currently 220 Colleges in membership, with most of them offering some kind of football, whether 11 or small-sided to their students. To read more click here
