Hi everyone.

We drew 0-0 at home with Notts County on Saturday, but it was a better game than the scoreline suggests.

Both teams had a couple of chances to score - Jamie Young made two excellent saves for us at the end. If we had won we would have put some distance between us and Notts County, who are one place below us. When you are going for promotion, it's your home form which you need to rely on, and ours has dropped a little bit.

I should have scored. I was guilty of missing a header.

I have gone ten games without scoring after starting the season really well. When you are scoring week in, week out, you put them away without even thinking about it. When you are struggling for goals, you end up putting more power into your shots and headers rather than placing them.

I'm certainly not scoring as much as I would like. I'm playing a bit deeper than I would do normally. Jermaine Easter is playing on the shoulder of the last man, so I'm not getting as many chances as I have in the past.

Some games recently I have not even had one chance, so I was pleased to get into some good positions on Saturday. It was one of my better games recently though. I set up Jermaine for a chance. If anything he hit it too cleanly and it hit the keeper in the face. But he's got 21 goals already, I have only got ten. I'm playing catch-up.

It bothers me, although I should not be overly concerned about it.

Even though I am 35 and have been a professional since 1991, I still feel pressure. I put more pressure on myself than anyone else. My own standards are high and I'll be disappointed if I don't get near 20 goals this season. You feel pressure in every game, but it's harder for myself and Jermaine for that matter as we don't score many goals from midfield.

We have Bury on Saturday, then were supposed to play Bristol Rovers the following Tuesday but it's been postponed.

You would normally think it's good playing from Saturday to Saturday, but you are waiting a long time for the next chance to come along.

Ideally you want to play as soon as possible when you are struggling for goals.

Hi Tommy. After a run of average results, do you still think automatic promotion is achievable? By the way, you were immense against Chelsea.
Daniel Simpson

Thanks Daniel. Automatic promotion will be very difficult. The first two places are probably beyond us and we are nine points off Swindon who are in third place, which is still an automatic spot. Towards the end of the season, when you playing twice a week, you can make the points up, and we have to play the teams around us as well. It's still a possibility, and as long as there is a chance we will keep trying. In terms of the play-offs, the form team seems to win it. The team who has played well in March and April is the one to watch. I remember when I was with Watford, we won 12 of our last 13 games and won the play-offs. We did a similar thing when I went up with Birmingham, winning 13 of our last 14 games.

Tommy, I am 14 and a massive Wycombe fan. I was just wondering about your view on the sale of Kevin Betsy to Bristol City?
Maxwell Clark

He was out of contract in the summer, so the club got a good fee for him. The move was right for both parties. It's a good move from him, it gives him the chance to see if he can further his career. From a professional point of view I can see why he's done it - I would have done the same. He wants to test himself at a higher level. Kevin is a good player. He has very quick feet and was very good at getting us 40 yards up the field. One aspect he could perhaps work on is his final product, but knowing Gary Johnson and Keith Millen as I do, they will be working on that to get the best out of him.

Since leaving Scarborough, do you still look out for their results?
Shaun Darrell

I do look out for their results, as I do with all my old clubs. They are a club I hold close to my heart - they gave me my first chance as a professional and I look upon my time there fondly. There are some lovely people at the club. I have a lot of family in the area too. In terms of playing there again, I don't think that will happen at this stage of my career, particularly with my family settled in the Midlands.
