Hello readers

We've had a rest these past few days looking ahead to our match with West Brom and things are really geared to looking after the fitness because it's a busy time for us.

We're in the situation where we've got to win to get back in the top six, and we have to winany game with West Brom, so it's two matches and we've got to win them both.

West Brom have got a whole stand for the game at our place which I've never seen before at Wolves, they'd fill the whole ground if they had the chance so it's going to be a great atmosphere.

It will be a great day and we just can't lose, we can't lose.

We've played them away this season, and I had might nightmare game, and I think we have them again in March.

We were training when the draw happened, we were still preparing for a replay with Oldham so we didn't count any chickens that we would get through.

It was definitely a spur for us to get West Brom. If you had asked anyone at the club who they wanted they would have said a big club, a top Premiership club, that's what everyone looks for in The FA Cup draw.

When we got West Brom though I thought 'That's even better', I'll take as many chances as I can get to play them.

Personally I'd rather play West Brom and do well against them than one of the top clubs, it's more satisfying when you win over a local team.

In The Cup you get so few chances to get one over your rivals, they might not be able to get us back for a long time because it's so rare to draw them in The Cup.

Against Oldham it was an average performance from us in the first half, it was an even game and we weren't happy about that at half time.

The goal was unbelievable from Darren Potter, he's been different class since he came here.

He's just a natural footballer and he could play for any team. I think he's a mini Steven Gerrard really, he does the same kind of things as him, and I like him a lot to be fair.

He's one of our better players, and he's in a league of his own in training. The quality he has and the way he delivers for the team is just brilliant, he's a great signing.

He loves working on his free kicks and his set plays, but to be honest there are a number of players at our club that are always practising those kind of things.

There's Daniel Jones who came up with me from the academy, he's always working on his shots.

He went through a spell once where he seemed to get a free kick in every game, one game I remember in that run against Burnley he hit the post and the bar and got closer each time.

Michael Kightly and Michael McIndoe are the ones who take most of our free kicks at the moment so they're always working on their shooting.

I'm not really one to go forward and put my name on the ball though, my job is stopping the goals at the other end - I'll leave the goals to the strikers.

I'm still waiting for my first goal for Wolves but it's not my thing at the minute, as long as I'm playing well I don't really mind.

The gaffer's been saying that the further up the pitch I am, the more work I need on my game.

When I'm close to my own goal I'm comfortable, but at the other end I need to work a little bit on how I use the ball.

I need to get in the box more, I hit the bar against Cardiff at the weekend which shook me up a little bit, I nearly jumped up because I thought it was in. It's just another area of my game to add to and it can get you more attention if you score a few goals.

You look at Gareth Bale and he is a quality full back for Southampton, but the reason he's getting so much attention is because he's scored five goals this season.

No one in our team has scored that many which shows how funny football can be.

Our top scorer is Jody Craddock on four I think, he goes up for corners and scores from them, that's the way it is at the minute.

Away from football I've not really been up to that much these past few weeks, I've just been relaxing and taking it easy.

Most of my friends have seen the new Rocky film, but they weren't too keen on it so I've steered clear of it.

The new series of 24 started at the weekend, but I didn't watch it because I know, knowing me, I'll be too busy one too weekend and then I won't be able to catch up, so I'll just wait for the DVDs and watch them.
