The Nottinghamshire FA is looking to appoint a Football Development Officer (Disability).
The role is on a full time three year post (Post continuation subject to funding) and with a salary circa £22,000.
This is a unique career opportunity to drive forward the current Disability Football Partnership in Nottinghamshire; the main aim is to increase the number of opportunities for participation / competition on a more regular basis to those that mirror mainstream football i.e. regular training and competition at a local level.
• Have you an understanding of community-based sports development programmes and of partnership working?
• Have you experience of applying for funding?
• Have you experience of leading community based disability programmes?
• Have you a commitment to maximising the opportunity for all disabled people to access high quality football provision?
• Have you strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills?
• Have you experience of project development and management?
• Have you an understanding of local and national government policy?
• Do you have an understanding of sports policy and the impact of sport on communities?
