The FA is looking to recruit a Financial Regulations Officer.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Financial Regulation Department (on a six month Fixed Term Contract) for a Financial Regulation Officer - Investigations.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with conducting investigations within the Financial Regulation team, with a view to safeguarding the integrity of the sport through effective regulation;
- Investigating any matters within the scope of the Financial Regulation Department (e.g. cases relating to agents, transfers, financial irregularity) and to ensure compliance with The FA’s Rules and Regulations within this area;
- Assisting with the enhancement of the Investigation team by making improvements to systems and procedures to ensure the process is robust and fair where necessary;
- Supporting the conduct of investigations and the processing of alleged breaches of FA Rules & Regulations (including obtaining and reviewing documentation / evidence, assessing evidence and compiling information with a view to possible disciplinary action, interviewing and/or assisting with the interviewing of witnesses and suspects);
- Providing support and assistance as required to the Financial Regulation Manager (Investigations) and the Head of Financial Regulation;
- Providing assistance, where necessary, with the formulation of FA policies and procedures in the Investigation area.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage numerous competing priorities;
- Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-profile environment;
- Experience of working in a regulatory/ legal / enforcement environment;
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to manage difficult situations with maturity, tact and confidence;
- An eye for detail and excellent judgment in relation to complex issues;
- Sets high standards;
- IT literate;
- Experience of multi-jurisdictional investigations and those within a financial context alongside data analysis and investigative interviewing skills are all highly desirable.
