The winners will be presented with their National Innovation Award at special award lunch prior to an England game. There are also two tickets on offer for the County FA, the winning club, the School Sports Partnership and two for the link school for each category winner.
There will be national press coverage for the winners via TheFA.com and the chance to have your model of good practice turned into live video action as part of a CD-Rom to promote the school-club link programme within football.
The closing deadline is now Friday 28 April.
There are seven categories - Football for All, Ability to Succeed, Girls' Football, Rural Activity, Urban Sounds, Education and Learning through Football and Futsal. A more in depth explaination can be found by clicking here.
The FA School-Club Link Project's primary aim is getting more young people playing football in FA Charter Standard clubs. The delivery takes place in many different guises, with the focus being utilising the best combination of football development initiatives to meet the local needs.
The national framework illustrates various methods of delivery, with the most popular way to include taster sessions in schools, followed by a coaching course or festival, being supported by volunteer coaches from the local Charter Standard club.
However, this set of awards tries to recognise those pieces of work that have excelled in their football development delivery, pushing back the boundaries and attempting innovative approaches to hitting the outcomes.
