In the past these courses have been well attended providing opportunities to help the development of goalkeepers in this county.

The course will be tutored by Dave Timmins, who is a goalkeeping coaching adviser for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Shrewsbury Town.

As a coach at this level, Dave holds a UEFA A GK Coaching Licence. As well as working at a professional level, Dave also tutors goalkeeper workshops for coaches in Shropshire, organised by The Shropshire Football Development team.

Clubs and schools are encouraged to send any player who wishes to gain further knowledge of goalkeeping in any capacity. Players who are not involved in a club are also very welcome to attend.

Course details: Venue - SCAT (Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology); Date - Friday 17 February; Age Group - under-ten to under-16; Time - 10am-1pm; Cost - £3.
