A football club is about far more than the players on the pitch. The FA is committed to supporting the volunteers in club football that make up the backbone of grassroots football.
The Football Workforce is an important FA program that recognises the value of volunteers. It is a scheme that guides clubs on how to recruit, retain and reward volunteers.
The guide is a checklist for good practice that should enable clubs to generate ideas of to apply themselves. Clubs are encouraged to share their good ideas and knowledge. It is also a means by which clubs can access useful resources.
