The FA Tesco Skills Programme will be a part of Black History Live, which takes place at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

The two day event is a celebration of Aro-Caribbean culture and is connected to Black History Month which takes place across the UK throughout October.

Over two million children aged 5-11 have been through The FA Tesco Skills Programme since its launch in 2007 with an overall aim of getting youngsters playing football, exercising regularly and socialising with their peer group in a fun environment.

Dragons Den success story, Levi Roots, will be one of the Black History Live guests on Saturday while the London Community Gospel Choir will perform in the afternoon on both days.

The first black Briton to walk to the North Pole, Dwayne Fields, will be host a talk on Saturday afternoon while there’ll be film screenings and performing art displays across the weekend.

Black History Live takes place in the Bobby Moore Suite at Wembley with The Football Association and The FA Tesco Skills Programme located on Stand 50.

Last month saw The FA launch COACH, a film aimed at getting more Black and Minority Ethnic football coaches into the game, and FA staff will be on hand throughout Black History Live to offer advice on FA coaching courses and how to get involved in grassroots football.
