Watch our drill of the day from FA Tesco Skills.
Following the launch of the brand new FA Tesco Skills website
, we're bringing you some of the best skills and drills videos from the programme.
Aimed particularly at the five to eleven-year-old age group, there's no reason why players of all ages can't try out these sessions to help improve your game.
Today we look at how to do a Goalkeeper's Kick
from your hands. Align your feet correctly with the kicking foot behind the standing one, and as you drop the ball from one hand move forward in one motion and strike the ball firmly forward and up into the air.
You can watch the video in the player on the right of the page.

What is The FA Tesco Skills Programme?
The FA Tesco Skills Programme is a revolutionary new approach to youth coaching that has been providing high quality, affordable football skills courses for five to eleven-year-olds of all abilities since 2007. Co-ordinated by The FA and funded by Tesco and Sport England , the Skills Programme employs 106 specialist FA coaches to develop the football skills of children in England. We’re committed to helping boys and girls in England live a more active lifestyle and to be the best football players they can. We also want them to have fun, grow in confidence and learn teamwork and responsibility. Your children can take part in The FA Tesco Skills Programme through their primary school or by signing up to take part in our regular After School Skills Centres and Free Holiday Sessions .
