Head of Women's Exercise Science

A job opportunity has arisen at Lilleshall.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the Medical Services team with responsibility for:

  • Managing the Exercise Science provision for all international female players;
  • Improving and develop the physical and physiological development of female players at all levels, and in doing so, progress women’s football to the forefront of the world stage;
  • Implementing The FA four-corner model approach in the women’s game.

The successful candidate will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of the women’s game;
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of conditioning elite players;
  • Understanding of The FA’s Education Scheme;
  • Knowledge of strategic planning;
  • Minimum MSc in Sports Science, or equivalent;
  • Experience of delivering football specific conditioning sessions;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
