A new role is available at the Surrey FA.
Surrey County FA requires a committed, enthusiastic and flexible individual to work within the Football Development Team.
This exciting new post is funded by The Football Association and Surrey County FA and supported by British College Sport. The successful individual will be required to address the drop-off in participation within football at the 16-19 age group, whilst also sustaining existing participants and growing football participation within FE colleges in Surrey.
The applicant will play a leading role in supporting the network of 17 FE Colleges in Surrey County FA who affiliate and work proactively with British Colleges Sport to promote and develop football both within the college and local community. As well as providing dedicated support one day a week to Kingston College as a FA Focus College.
The successful individual should be have a minimum of a Level 3 sports related qualification and have experience of leadership and volunteering. It is desirable that you have current sports development background together with an understanding of the FA National Game Strategy.

The position is full-time and is based at Surrey County FA’s Headquarters in Leatherhead. The post is funded for two years, with funding guaranteed for the first 12 months. The remaining year will be subject to satisfactory delivery of targets by the post-holder which will be agreed as part of the appointment process.
