Referee Administration Officer - West Riding CFA

Salary circa £14K

West Riding County Football Association is seeking to recruit a Referee Administration Officer to provide administrative and organisational support to implement the strategic referee development programme within the County FA.

The position reports to the Referee Development Officer (overseen by the County Development Manager) and will be contracted to 35 hours per week.

The role encompasses the following areas:-

- To support the delivery of the National Game Strategy in the CFA in partnership with key stakeholders.
- To provide a high quality secretarial and administrative support to the County FA Referee Development Team and Referees Committee.
- To manage the administration of referee registrations and the appointment of officials to all County Cup Competitions and other matches as directed.
- Establish and maintain a range of specific databases (e.g. to monitor referee promotions, basic training, assessment reports)
- Support budget holders to monitor and manage budgets effectively.

To apply, you need to have previous experience in a secretarial / administrative role, have excellent customer service skills and ideally some knowledge of football / refereeing at a local level. You must be able to work in a busy team environment but also be able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised.

Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
