A new vacancy has arisen at the Shropshire CFA.
The Shropshire CFA are looking to appoint a Football Development Officer (Vacancy Reference: CS10/85), on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2012.
The aim of the successful candidate will be to deliver and implement programmes detailed within The Football Association National Development Strategy as well as evaluate the quantity and quality of football opportunities within the County.
The post holder is responsible to the County Football Development Manager and key responsibilities are as follows:-
o Ensuring their individual and service performance targets are met.
o Working with colleagues to ensure the team functions successfully in support of the Councils corporate and services objectives.
o Planning and executing service delivery in their area and ensuring that it's customer focused and responsive.
You candidate will have:-
• Demonstrable experience of football/sports development or similar activity.
• An understanding of football development initiatives introduced by The Football Association.
• An understanding of the role and responsibilities of a County Football Association.
This position will be within Shropshire Football Association’s successful and highly regarded Development Team reporting to the County Football Development Manager and opportunities will be given for personal development/access to FA/Shropshire Council training programmes.
