Middlesex FA are recruiting for an Administration Officer and Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive.
The main roles of the job are:
- To provide administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive
- To manage administrative and secretarial support to the Middlesex Schools FA
- To act as Minutes Secretary to Committees as required
- To manage the administration of the Association’s club/league and referee insurance scheme
- To liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure the efficiency of central services, including reprographics, stationery, telephones and facilities
- To manage an Administration Assistant/Receptionist.
The salary will be in the range £18k to £20k depending on age and experience, and the person appointed will need to bring the following skills to the post:
Be an efficient and accurate administrator
Be computer literate and have a good knowledge of the following software packages:
- Word (essential)
- Excel (essential)
- Access (desirable)
- Desk top publishing (desirable)
Be an experienced audio/typist and, ideally, shorthand skills to 100wpm
Have an excellent telephone manner
Able to work accurately whilst under pressure and to deadlines
Numerate and comfortable when dealing with figures
Flexible approach to work and prepared to attend meetings, etc outside of normal office hours (time off in lieu will be available)
Be able to demonstrate a customer-oriented approach to work
