An opportunity has arisen at the Manchester County FA.
County FA Business Development Manager
This position reports directly to the Chief Executive and will lead a new, to-be-established Business Administration Unit to ensure that the functional processes and procedures of the County FA are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
The role encompasses the following areas:
• Strategic Business planning.
• Managing the Business Administration Unit Team.
• Income diversification.
o (Marketing, sponsorship)
• Core operational business management.
o (Discipline, Regulations and Sanctions, Club and League Membership and Affiliation, Coach Education and Coaches Association, Communication, Health and Safety, Customer Excellence, ICT and County FA Service Level Agreements).
• National Game Strategy delivery:-
o Running the Game – leading and governing the game efficiently including the establishment of an annual County Delivery Strategy.
o Workforce – developing and delivering a robust workforce plan for coaches, referees, young leaders, referees, welfare officers and volunteers.
You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of football at a local level and also developing a growing business organisation. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. In addition you must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence at all levels, have a proven track record of managing staff. You will also need to have a current driving licence and be flexible to work the occasional evening and weekends.
