The FA Tesco Skills ProgrammeSkills Coach (ref: SC2010)Currently fixed-term contracts until July 2014CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE FUTURE OF ENGLISH FOOTBALL?The Football Association introduced the FA Tesco Skills Programme to provide all 5-11s with a skill set to develop their game, foster lifelong healthy active lifestyles and to improve the long-term performance of our National game. This Programme will have a massive short and long-term impact on the nation’s children and football as a whole. The Programme aims to give 5-11s age appropriate coaching and self-help tools to learn the basics needed to reach their full potential. The Programme has provided 2.6m places on coaching courses to-date. By working with Tesco and supported by Sport England, The FA aims to provide another 2.1m children over the next three years with skills training via a coaching programme.To help sustain and grow the current Programme, The FA would like to appoint the following:
The successful candidate will support their colleagues in organising and delivering the Skills Programme to 5-11-year-olds through Skills Centres, school curriculum lessons, Charter Standard Clubs and Girls Centres of Excellences.Successful candidates will possess the following:
