QPR player and Birmingham City Ladies manager Marcus Bignot.
Back in action

Welcome to my weekly column. The season is in full swing with both my teams - QPR, where I play and Birmingham City Ladies, who I manage.
It's been a quite relaxing week for me to be honest, because I suffered a bit of tendonitis after our match against Sunderland. I missed training in the beginning of the week, but I should be OK for Saturday's game.
The match against Sunderland was disappointing because we were winning 2-1 until right at the end, when they equalised. We would have taken the point before the start of the match, but to come away with a draw so late was disappointing.
Paul Furlong's goal was a bright spot in the game, and I'd like to think it's likely to be a contender for goal of the season - but I might be biased! He's a quality player, and he was very pleased with his goal.
Our match against Derby will be hard. Our manager Ian Holloway has told us they will be the best footballing side we've come up against so far.
And I know their goalkeeper Lee Camp, because he came to QPR on loan not long after I joined. He is quality, and it's no secret we tried to get him in the summer.
It's my second spell at QPR, and I am glad I came back. But it almost didn't happen, because after I left Rushden I had an offer from Oldham. Then when I was about half an hour away from their ground, on the way to signing the contract, I got a call, and it was Ollie's name on my phone.
I knew if I picked up the phone, I would be going back to QPR - even though I had a longer-term contract waiting for me at Oldham.
I answered the call, and sure enough, he convinced me to go to QPR, because I felt they were ambitious and I wanted to play in the First Division again.
It was touch and go - I had to get the contract faxed to me, and I managed to sign it about 45 minutes before the deadline closed. I tell you it was the longest 45 minutes of my life waiting for the call to say The FA had accepted the registration!
My Ladies team started the season off with a win over Bristol Rovers. Their performance wasn't the best, and they knew that when they came off the pitch.
We know we can do better, and we played a bit deep, so this week we've been working on being more clinical, which is one of our strengths. Amanda Barr and Rachel Yankey did their job well with the goal - that's why I brought them in in the summer.
Be sure to come back next week, when I assess Rachel and Amanda's performances for England against Russia, assuming my TV gets fixed in time!
QPR Play Derby at Loftus Road on Saturday, and Birmingham City Ladies play Leeds United on Sunday 29 August.
