Welcome to my weekly column. It's been a strange week for me, because I am suspended for the West Ham game, so I am at a bit of a loose end.
We had a good result on Tuesday against Millwall, and it showed how much better Ian Holloway has become as a manager.
Millwall changed tactics, so we had to adjust to match them - and Ian read it well. We always knew he was a good manager, but he is also better than most in our league.
Ollie is very passionate about the game, but recently he has shown he can get tactics right as well as motivating and coaching us.
As a manager myself, I saw how he dealt with things when we were not doing very well at the start of the season. Our season at Birmingham Ladies isn't going as well as we hoped but I have also seen how one game can turn things.
At Birmingham we had a good win against Fulham, then got some revenge over Charlton, so our season has already begun to turn.
At QPR it was a case of winning one then another, then before we knew it we were on a run of seven wins on the bounce. So I hope that's how it is going to be against Birmingham.
The boys have a tough one this weekend against West Ham. It could be the hardest one of the season. And they will be smarting after their loss against Cardiff.
But this is the time of the season where injuries and suspensions may start to hurt us. I am out this weekend, and Marc Bircham is out for the next game, and we haven't got the strength in depth to cover for too many absences.
We need seven more wins to get to 51 points, which was our target at the beginning of the season. To reach that at around Christmas or New Year will be great.
My Ladies team have a big League Cup game this weekend against Doncaster Belles. Iwould love us to get past them and into the semi finals.
And if we could get a Cup final in the New Year - with live TV coverage - things could be turning out rosy on both fronts.
Our new ground at Solihull Borough has potential to draw a crowd. We got 411 for our 1-0 win over Charlton, which we were pleased about.
Finally, two words on Hallowe'en: ban it. There is no point to it, other than to give kids bad dreams.
My daughter had nightmares for three days afterwards. Someone came up to her in a mask, and she lost it. She jumped into my arms and refused to show her face for about an hour. It's a good job I went as myself.
The boss has given me the weekend off, so I will do some intense research into London vs Birmingham nightlife. Be sure to come back next week when I reveal my findings.
QPR play West Ham at Upton Park on Saturday at 3pm. Birmingham Ladies play Doncaster Belles in the League Cup quarter final at Brodsworth Welfare FC on Sunday at 2pm.
