Jay Jay Okocha in action for Bolton against Charlton on Saturday.
Bolton shine brightest

Bolton Wanderers are TheFA.com team of the weekend after Jay Jay Okocha inspired them to a 4-1 victory over Charlton Athletic to sit proudly at the top of the Premiership.
Sam Allardyce's side finished last season in 8th position in great form and have taken up where they left off with a dominant performance against a Charlton side that will be no pushovers themselves this season.
Amazingly, Okocha failed to score a single goal in last season's Premiership, but it took him just 11 minutes this time around as he unleashed an unstoppable free kick past Dean Kiely.
After half an hour Okocha then sent Henrik Pederson through to make it two nil, before Okocha added his second on the hour mark with another fierce low drive.
Kevin Lisbie grabbed a consolation for Charlton to make it 3-1 before Pederson completed the scoring on 73 minutes with his second of the game.
Allardyce has performed wonders at the club during his time in charge and if his squad can remain relatively injury free then they could well be challenging for a UEFA Cup spot at the end of the season.
Whilst Alan Curbishley was understandably angry at his team’s display he can take comfort from the fact that the Reebok Stadium will be a very tough place for teams to come and gain a result this term.
Other contenders for Team of the Week included West Brom for their battling performance at Blackburn, and Stockport for their 4-0 thrashing of Blackpool at the seaside.
