Switzerland coach Jakob Kuhn believes his side can exploit the "cruel" disappointment of England's last-ditch defeat by France in Coimbra tomorrow.
Sven-Goran Eriksson's side are hoping to bounce back and earn at least a point against the Swiss in their second Euro 2004 Group B match if they are to stay in the competition.
However Swiss coach Kuhn is confident his men can capitalise on any mental scars inflicted by Zinedine Zidane's stoppage-time double at the Estadio da Luz.
"You can't forget that sort of experience, it's too hard," Kuhn said.
"But it is the work of Eriksson to make them fit in mind.
"It's the most difficult thing for any coach and especially when you do not have much time.
"But that is our job. That is Eriksson's job."
Kuhn, who is the first Swiss national to take charge of the national side since 1989, realises that tomorrow's game is going to be very difficult.
"We face a match against one of the best teams in the championship so it will be very difficult for us. We know that.
"England impressed me against France. I saw the last 30 minutes of that match and it was no problem for the English team.
"They resisted France easily and they should have won. In the end the result was very cruel."
