England Coach Tord Grip says that, despite Bayern Munich missing out on the Bundesliga championship by six points, Owen Hargreaves has had another good season in Germany.
Speaking to TheFA.com for England TV, the Swede said: "Owen has been playing very well.
"He has been one of the players at Bayern who has played most of the games."
Though Tord thinks that Hargreaves is capable of playing as the holding midfielder, he says that, at his age and with his fitness, he's much more valuable to the team in an attacking position.
"His work rate is great. He likes to run, he has marvelous stamina, so it is a bit of a pity to have him in there.
"He has played on the right hand side for Bayern, so I think it is better to play him there," he added.
"Either on the right-hand side or as an attacking central midfielder."
