Brent Hills’ England Women’s U23 side slipped to a 3-0 defeat against USA in their opening game of the University of Warwick-hosted International Tournament.

Christen Press was USA’s heroine with a goal in each half while Ellii Reed got herself on the scoresheet in the 22nd minute. In the day’s other game, Sweden beat Norway 1-0.

England are next in action on Friday, against Sweden.
