Six players from The FA's National Player Development Centre took part in a charity match against female MPs.
Six players from The FA's National Player Development Centre at Loughborough University recently took part in a charity football match against female MPs, including the Secretary of State The Rt Hon Tessa Jowell MP.
The academy won the well-spirited match 9-6, utilising their goalkeeper outfield to ensure a more even game. The match was started by the Chancellor Gordon Brown MP to raise awareness for his Piggybanks charity, in aid of children's issues.
The match took place at Archbishops Park in Westminster. All of the players represent England at some level and include:
Laura Bassett - England Senior international
Shelly Cox - England Under-21s international
Kate Holtham - England U19 captain
Karen Carney - England U19 international
Cath Beaver - England U19 international
Emily Westwood - England U21 international
