Coach Hope Powell has revealed her squad for the Under 17s first overseas fixture...

England Under-17s will play their first ever fixture outside of Britain this month when they travel to France for a friendly international.

The Under-17s side have been playing competitive matches since the team began, but the furthest afield they have travelled is Scotland.

National Coach Hope Powell has picked an 18-strong squad for the friendly against France, taking place at the France Football Federation's national centre, Clairefontaine, on Friday October 25th.

The squad includes several players who played in the Scotland friendly tournament in March, where England beat the USA representative side en route to winning the tournament. The squad also features several new faces, who will be hoping to impress on their first call-up to the England international set-up.

The team will meet up on Monday October 21st, before travelling to France on Wednesday October 23rd from London Heathrow. The team will return from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport on Saturday 26th October.
