England beat Austria 1-0 to make it to Turkey in July.
England have qualified for the Finals of the UEFA Women’s European U19 Championship following a 1-0 win over Austria in Grimsby.
Mo Marley’s young charges came into this final qualifier needing just a point to make it to Turkey in July, but they went one better as Arsenal forward Danielle Carter grabbed the only goal of the game in the 19th minute.
Allied to earlier wins over Finland (1-0) and Wales (6-0), England have progressed to the Finals with a 100 per cent record and without their goal being breached once.
They will now be hoping to extend England’s excellent recent record in this competition – winners in 2009 and runners-up in 2007 and 2010.
