England to face Croatia, Norway and Portugal in Second Qualifying Round.

England will travel to Croatia next March to take on the host nation, Norway and Portugal in the Second Qualifying Round for this season’s UEFA European Women’s U19 Championship.

The Group 4 games will take place between 31 March and 5 April 2011 with the top-placed nation making it through to the Finals, which will be staged in Italy in May.

Mo Marley’s side made it through to this stage by beating Moldova (4-0), Armenia (9-0) and Finland (2-0) in the initial qualifying phase.

In preparation for the Second Qualifying Round, England will take on the current European champions, France, next Thursday at Sixfields Stadium, home of Northampton Town FC.

The draw for the opening round of next season’s Euros was also made earlier today and England have been handed a bye to the Second Round, courtesy of their coefficient ranking.
