Mo Marley's side have progressed to the Second Qualifying Round of the European Championship.

England U19s have progressed to the Second Qualifying Round of the UEFA European Women's U19 Championship courtesy of a 5-2 victory over Scotland in Velenje.


Three goals in as many minutes from Jordan Nobbs, Jess Holbrook and Michelle Hinnigan allowed England to settle and further second half goals from Rebecca Jane and Steph Marsh saw the Three Lions top Group 5, ahead of Slovakia.

This result concluded England's fixtures in the First Qualifying Round where they drew with Slovakia in the opening match and recorded an impressive 3-0 victory over Slovenia.

The Second Qualifying Round will take place between 23-28 April 2009 with all eyes firmly fixed on the Final Tournament Group Stage which will take place in July next year.
