Lois Fidler has named her 18-player England squad for the final qualifying round of the UEFA European Women’s U17 Championship.

The Young Lions made it through to this final stage of qualification by topping their First Round group with three wins from three, over FinlandIsrael and Northern Ireland.

Now they will face Iceland (on Friday 13 April), host nation Belgium (Sunday 15 April) and Switzerland (Wednesday 18 April), with only the top-placed team in the group making it through to this summer’s Euro Finals which are being staged, as ever, in Switzerland.

Fidler has called upon 14 of the players that helped get England to this stage, including prolific midfielder Katie Zelem (four goals in three First Qualifying Round matches), while Arsenal’s Emily Auld and Manchester United’s Natasha Flint are first time call ups.
