Casey Stoney's 100th cap, but occasion ends in 3-0 reverse for Hope Powell's side.
England's third game of the 2012 Cyprus Tournament ended in disappointment on Sunday afternoon, as they were on the end of a 3-0 scoreline against France in Larnaca.
After two wins from two games against Finland and Switzerland in their previous games, confidence was high going into this match and it was a day to remember for captain Casey Stoney, who collected her 100th cap for England. But aside from that, she would probably want to forget the match itself.
France took a first-half lead through Louisa Necib, before adding more goals after the break from Delie and Thiney to bring this year's Tournament to a disappointing end for Head Coach Hope Powell and her squad.
England will now play Italy on Tuesday to determine third and fourth place.
