The England Women's team will take on Bruno Bini's side in Paris on 20 October

After securing a spot at next summer’s European Championship Finals, the England Women’s team will round off the year with a testing friendly against France.

A comfortable 3-0 win over Croatia last month booked Hope Powell’s side a place at Sweden 2013 and Euro preparations will begin immediately as the Three Lions travel to Paris on Saturday 20 October.

France knocked England out of the 2011 World Cup at the quarter final stage and finished fourth at London 2012.

Powell will name her squad for the game on Tuesday 2 October.
