Kelly Smith has pulled out of the England Women’s squad that will take on Croatia in the final Euro 2013 qualifier on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old has not been able to fully recover from a quad strain picked up while playing for Arsenal against Bristol Academy on 3 September.
National Coach Hope Powell will not call anyone else into the squad in Smith’s place.
A win over Croatia on Wednesday will seal England's place at next summer's European Championship Finals in Sweden. Powell's side ran out comfortable 6-0 winners the last time the two nations met, in March.
Tickets for the game are priced £5 for adults, £2.50 for U16s and over 65s while U12s can go free when accompanied by an adult.
