Scotland’s goalless draw with Denmark on Wednesday evening has ensured England will be one of the four seeded nations in Monday’s World Cup play-off draw.

Joining England in pot one will be France, Sweden and Norway and the 2009 European Championship runners-up will be drawn against either Italy, Switzerland, Ukraine or Denmark.

The first legs will be played on Saturday 11 September/Sunday 12 September, with the second legs taking place on Wednesday 15 September/Thursday 16 September. Date and kick-off times for each tie will be confirmed once the draw has been made although The FA confirmed yesterday that England’s home leg will be played at Shrewsbury Town’s Greenhous Meadow Stadium.

The play-off draw will take place in Nyon at approximately 1pm BST.
