Everton and England Under-21 midfielder Ross Barkley joins Leeds on a one-month contract

Ross Barkley has joined Leeds United on an initial one-month loan.

The Everton and England Under-21 midfielder enjoyed a two-month stint at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season, scoring four goals in 13 games.

Barkley has only made two appearances for the Toffees this campaign, the last of which came against Chelsea on 28 December.

In 2010, Barkley helped England win the European U17 Championship in Liechtenstein and scored the winner against Greece in the group stage.
