England new boy Raheem Sterling impresses during Under-21s training

It has been quite a year for Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling.

Thrust into the Reds first team by Brendan Rodgers, the winger was quick to deliver on his undoubted potential, producing a number of eye-catching performances.

Having already made a name for himself in the England youth teams, he impressed Stuart Pearce enough to earn his first Under-21 call-up ahead of the Euro 2013 play-off against Serbia in October.

He was propelled into Roy Hodgson’s senior squad for the match against Ukraine in September and then made his debut against Sweden last month.

FATV have captured some of Sterling’s best moments in training over the course of the year, and behind today’s advent calendar window are a few clips of the 17-year-old in training ahead of the Serbia game in Norwich.
